function
Unlike humans, horses breathe only through their nose. As a result, all horses suffer from collapse of soft tissue during high exertion. This partial collapse of the nasal tissue reduces the oxygen supply to the lungs and forces the horse to breathe harder. Clinical studies have shown that Flair Strips support the bridge of the nose and reduce collapse. In this way, your horse gets the oxygen it needs without expending extra energy.
how to use
Store FLAIR Strips at room temperature. Strips exposed to extreme cold or heat may damage the adhesive. For best results, apply FLAIR Strips 30 minutes before riding, training or any other activity where the horse may sweat. Apply the strips to a clean, dry nose. Use a clean, dry cloth or paper towel to remove dirt and oil before application. DO NOT use alcohol, water or gels on the application site. DO NOT shave the horse's nose before application. FLAIR Strips have a unique adhesive designed to flow into and adhere to the horse's hair. Before applying, bend the edges of the strips to form a crease to help the strips adhere to the horse's nose. Apply FLAIR Strips two finger widths above the horse's nostril. This placement provides optimal support for the soft tissue of the nasal passage. DO NOT touch the adhesive before applying the strip. If you touch the adhesive, it may not adhere properly. Additional adhesives can be harmful and are NOT recommended. FLAIR Strips have a unique and gentle adhesive designed for the health and safety of the horse.
